Everything is managed digitally via the Hedvig app – from signing up to filing claims.
On average, Hedvig customers pay SEK 156 per month for their home insurance. Prices vary depending on where you live, the size of your home and how many people are in your household. With referral code HEDDA you also get a lower price that applies indefinitely.
Property protection
Covers your belongings in case of fire, burglary, theft and water damage. Applies to furniture, electronics, clothing and personal items.
Travel insurance
Valid worldwide for the first 45 days of your trip. Covers acute illness, accidents and emergencies. Can be extended to 60 days.
Accidental damage (drulle)
Included in Standard and Max. Covers accidental damage – dropped phones, broken glasses and damaged luggage during travel.
Liability & legal protection
Liability cover if you accidentally damage another person or property. Legal protection for disputes such as inheritance or property conflicts.

Home insurance for rental apartments
If you live in a rental apartment, Hedvig's home insurance covers your personal belongings, liability and travel insurance. Your landlord is responsible for the building and fixed interiors, while your home insurance protects everything you own – furniture, electronics, clothing, bicycles and valuables.
The insurance applies regardless of whether you're on the lease or subletting. The average price for rental apartments is SEK 138 per month, with most paying between SEK 79 and SEK 239.
Home insurance for owned apartments (bostadsrätt)
As an apartment owner, you have greater responsibility for your home. Hedvig's home insurance for owned apartments automatically includes a supplement that covers damage to fixed interiors – floors, kitchen, walls and surfaces. This supplement is often required by your housing association.
In addition to the apartment supplement, you get the same comprehensive coverage as the rental insurance: property protection, liability, legal protection and travel insurance.
